While her soulful voice is undoubtedly captivating, it's her authenticity and compassion that truly set her apart, leaving a lasting impression on hearts and minds alike. The Canadian indie artist currently resides in Nashville, TN; in pursuit of bringing the songs she both sings and writes to life.
Megan Nadin is a Canadian singer-songwriter and music artist from Thunder Bay, ON. with a truly identifiable voice. Her journey much like her music reflects an enchanting blend of vulnerability and strength. For nearly two decades, Nadin kept her love of singing and song-writing behind closed doors but this changed while teaching children in a small village outside Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was there she began sharing her hidden passion with the children she was teaching and quickly her songs became a cherished part of their day. This revelation led her to share her music with family and friends back in Canada, who encouraged her to keep sharing her art.
In 2018, Nadin released her first single “Gypsy Sea”, finding a spot in CBC Searchlight's Top 100 (Top 50 Listeners choice) and performed her original music in a showcase that caught the attention of an Artist Development Program based in Nashville. In 2020, Nadin accepted a writing contract with 7-time Grammy winning producer Keith Thomas, making the move to Music City and releasing her Debut EP “This Was Then” - a 7 song EP of melodic stories told with pop-soul vocals and orchestral production; produced in collaboration with Thomas and Johnny Black.
After a 3 year musical hiatus, Nadin released singles “MAKE IT OUT ALIVE” and “HIGH” Summer of 2024 leading to appearances on ABC's Local On 2 and NBC's Today In Nashville.
Moving into 2025 with a bundle of fresh songs in her pocket, the singer-songwriter is kicking off the new year with the release of her original song “In Another Life”; a metaphor whittled ballad reminiscing the journey of finding a love that mends the old cracks of heartbreak only find out it was the “right” love at the “wrong” time. This song will be the first of many to be heard by Nadin in 2025.
Nadin's ultimate goal is to amalgamate her passions of music, advocacy and activism to create a platform that allows her opportunities to create change and be a voice for those much like the children in Cambodia that inspired her musical journey.
