A true artist at heart, Megan's essence is an enchanting blend of vulnerability and strength. Always seeking inspiration from the simplest of moments, Megan has a keen eye for beauty in the ordinary and her music becomes a testament to the shared human experience. While her soulful voice is undoubtedly captivating, it's her authenticity and compassion that truly set her apart, leaving a lasting impression on hearts and minds alike. The Canadian indie artist currently resides in Nashville, TN; in pursuit of bringing the songs she both sings and writes to life.

Canadian singer-songwriter and indie artist, Megan Nadin, spent nearly two decades writing songs behind closed doors and between journal entries, keeping her dream of sharing them close to her heart and away from those who knew her.

This all changed in 2013 after Nadin spent time living in Cambodia teaching children in a small village on the outskirts of Siem Reap. Here she began sharing her love of music and songwriting with the children she spent her days with. Quickly, her songs became a part of the day the children couldn't go without.

Returning back to Canada, this experience along with her long kept “secret” of songwriting started to spread among family and friends. They quickly began encouraging her to start sharing it with anyone who would listen and slowly but surely, she did.

Nadin finally stepped out of her comfort zone in 2017 by attending a Talent Nation workshop and showcase hosted in Toronto, ON, where she met vocal coach and award winning author of “The Vocal Compass”, Teresa Nocita. Not long after, Nocita and Nadin began to work together on vocal training and conditioning while Nadin worked as an Early Childhood Educator in her home town of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

In 2018, Nadin performed in a showcase held by Nocita in Hamilton, ON; where she was discovered by PCG Universal - a development company based out of Nashville, TN. This  introduced her to a world of singing and songwriting that reached far beyond the four walls of her bedroom.

After a year of writing and networking in the Music City, Nadin was offered a writing contract with award winning songwriter and Grammy winning producer, Keith Thomas - notably known for the Academy Award winning production of Colors of the Wind for the multi-platinum selling motion picture Pocahontas. This new opportunity had her make the move to Tennessee, where she would continue to work on the craft of writing while in pursuit of her own artistry and music.

The Canadian singer-songwriter released her debut EP in 2020 titled, This Was Then -  a seven song EP of melodic stories with pop-soul vocals and orchestral production, produced in collaboration with Thomas and Johnny Black.

So far in her career, she has had the pleasure of making it into Canada wide CBC Searchlight's Top 100 (Top 50 listeners choice) with songs Gypsy Sea and Never Gonna Be The Same - both which were written by the Canadian Songstress.

She's also placed top 5 in the the Nation wide songwriting competition The Shot and not long after enrolled in the Songwriting and Composition Program at Dark Horse Institute. Here she quickly became passionate about writing for the world of film and television and now makes up one of three members of Sync writing trio, Rule of Thr333, known for the fun Hip-Hop Christmas track titled Christmas Ho. Her further collaboration with Ellis Dews (of Rule of Thr333) on track The Devil Was An Angel Too, lead her to accepting a contract with Sync publishing company, Likha Music International (Marvel, Paramount +, Disney Channel, Showtime, MTV, BET, VH1) at the top of 2024.

The Canadian singer-songwriter and indie artist has created with and learned from the likes of, Multi-award and Grammy winning and songwriter Tia Sillers (Lee Ann Womack “I Hope You Dance”);  Multi-Dove award winning and Grammy nominated songwriter, Margarette Becker;  Grammy, Latin Grammy and Emmy Award winning songwriter and producer, Ivan Gutiérrez Carrasquillo;  Songwriter and producer, Britton Cameron (Lonestar, Sister Hazel);  Songwriter and producer, Sebastian Satar (Kanye West, Pusha T, Gashi Danny Seth);  Guitarist, producer and musical director, Mike Zara (D4VD, Lil Mosey, Smoke Purpp);  Multi-instrumentalist, saxophonist and musical director, Mark Rivera (Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band);  Grammy nominated composer, producer and multi instrumentalist, Jon Cobert (John Lennon, Tom Chapin);  Sync songwriter and producer PG Banker (Coca-Cola Olympic commercial, Budweiser commercial, FOX sports, CBS, NFL Network, MTV, VH1, Animal Planet);  & Composer and producer, Ellis Dews (Keeping Up With The Kardashians, FOX sports, TLC, VH1, LIFETIME, MTV, Paramount +, BET and Nickelodeon);  Along with the aforementioned producer and composer Keith Thomas (Selena, Amy Grant, Vanessa Williams, Faith Hill, Wynonna Judd);  and songwriter and vocal coach, Teresa Nocita (Jimmy Chauveau of Ascott Royals, The Strumbrellas and Canadian Idol winner Season 7, Brian Melo).

Nadin's goal is to amalgamate her passions of music, advocacy and activism to create a platform that allows her opportunity to create change and be a voice for those much like the children she spent time with in Cambodia that inspired this new found journey.
